0 Truebones Mocap Software

Mr.Bones story without cut:

Attention Animators, Great News.

There is now an awesome great character animation software made specifically for the kinect camera. It lets you make mocap or motion capture animation literally on your desktop.

The brand new “iPiSoft Studio” animation software is literally plug and play, requires 0 calibration and is amazingly powerful. All you need is a kinect camera!

What you can do with this program is almost indescribable, but I will try.

Basically you can track your body movements then export the motion as a BVH, FBX or Collada File. And it also auto retargets motions onto an imported rigg. With support for all major Animation programs, including, I/O options for Daz, Poser 3D Max, Blender, Endorhin and Motion Builder and more..

I urge you to download the demo at the link provided. from http://www.truebones.com

Please feel free to share this great animation information with all of your animator friends!

Thanks and Cheers

Interesting software, but WOW, that has got to be one of the ugliest websites I have seen in ages! Doesn’t this company care about marketing their product properly?

      Hi Od,

Yes I admit, our website is ugly, But we are proud of the quality of motions we sell there.

We do care deeply about marketing, but even more about customer service.

We used to have a website with stunning graphics and layout, however that made our site vunerable to hackers, We changed it back from fancy to plain for a reason.

LEt me know if you think you can do better… Are you a web designer?

      Thanks and Cheers

So in other words your website is acting like a 10% vendor because no one buys your anims anymore? While taking credit for making an a program work with Kinect when in truth you had nothing to do with it?

          Mr. James Miller,

WIth all due respect sir, I am appalled at your false accusations.

I am an official iPi Affiliate Partner that supports and promotes iPiSoftware with their permission.

I do have a lot to do with it and shapinf the mocap and CG industry as my business Truebones has been in Business for over 10 years, and I personally have been contributing to the CG industry as a whole for over 20.

Where did I take credit for making the software? where?

Its not my Job to Title the thread. The Moderator made mistake.

Sales of my Mocap are doing just fine, THanks very much to Kinect and iPiSoft.

    I’m very confused here.

This seems like a link straight to iPisoft’s motion capture products, which range from $400 to $1000. What is Truebone’s software?
