Real Time Natural Expression and Movement in a Virtual World Using Activate 3D
Activate 3D translates, in real time, a player’s motion into natural and expressive movements in a 3D virtual environment.
A free, open sourced, non-commercial version of their Intelligent Motion SDK is available on their website to try out. It’s fully compatible with PC versions of OpenNI and NITE.
In the video you can see ability to jump and grab onto monkey bars, swing across them, move arms to initiate forward motions as if you were walking and then climb a rope..
