Dan spent a bit of time yesterday building an app to allow him to control retro games in an emulator using his Kinect and he put together a quick/simple video of himself (especially from 1:05!!1) playing Mike Tyson’s Punch Out to show it off and get feedback from other Kinect hackers.
He’ll probably put together more of a full-blown website for his hack soon and I hope to open source it. He need to clean up some of his quick and dirty hacks and get official written permission from Mike Tyson icon smile Kinect Mike Tysons Punch Out

Thanks Dan!

I got permission to open source it so I’ll do some code clean-up and aim to upload somewhere by the end of the week. Glad to hear you’re excited!

I hope you do put this out. this is still one of my favorite games and when Kinect hit the market I knew someone would step out to the plate and make this hack =)
