Kinect Made to Work on PS3

This is a really bizzare hack, using a Kinect on a hacked PS3 but nonetheless Shantanu Goel has accomplished it with amazing passion. Xbox and Kinect has their biggest rival, the PS3 which now has been seamlessly hacked to work with the Kinect. The kinect is connected to a laptop, which is running PrimeSense drivers for the Kinect, which is then converted into  tracking data and reconverted into PS3 specific data via DIYPS3Controller, which control tyhe PS3 through the laptop.

Update: The PS3 is not hacked or jailbroken. Its a uses legal firmware.

    hacker has clearly mentioned that he hasn’t made any HW/FW changes to his ps3.. it’s running on official firmware.

    Please read an article properly before you post this to your own blog….
    The hack is running on an unmodified Ps3. Its official firmware.
    No need to get Sony on his case for using a “Hacked” ps3 when he’s
    clearly not doing so….
