Microsoft have uploaded a video showing the new advances in NUI (Natural User Interfaces) happening in Microsoft research . Microsoft is doing loads of research in bringing gestures, touch, voice commands to computing as advanced input. Though this video is not specifically about the Kinect, we get to see a lot hints of what they are planning to introduce with the Kinect SDK and Windows 8.
